Professional highlights:
Started private practice with Family HealthCare of Germantown/Rockville, Md. in 1998, became partner in 2000. Provided clinical services to Proyecto Salud in 2004, served as interim Medical Director from 2006-2007. Served as an at large member of the medical executive committee at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital from 2006-2007. Provided emergency medical relief services to earthquake victims in Haiti in March 2010.  Has received consistent recognition as one of The Washingtonian Magazine's "Top Doctors" since 2002. 

Dr Howard was appointed as Proyecto’s Medical Director in December 2011.

Professional interests include preventive medicine, community medicine, and women's health.
