Proyecto Salud engages on a new endeavor with Kaiser Permanente.

As a new partnership between Proyecto Salud Clinic and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, Inc, Proyecto Salud welcomes Mrs. Mary Lazarek NP and Mr. Harold Fruchter as the newest medical providers in Proyecto’s Olney and Wheaton sites. Mrs. Lazarek and Mr. Fruchter are part of Kaiser Ambassador programs and they both will provide primary care services starting Wednesday December 21, 2011.

Proyecto Salud announces its new Medical Director.

Proyecto Salud is proud to announce that Dr. Monica Howard was recently appointed as the new Medical Director.

Dr. Howard has been part of Proyecto’s family since 2005. Throughout these years, Dr. Howard has provided compassionate and high quality medical services to the uninsured population of Montgomery County. We are especially excited of having Dr. Howard as head of the clinical area of Proyecto Salud and we are looking forward to having Dr. Howard for the years to come.

We would like to acknowledge the valuable contribution of Dr Robert Barnett for his committed service as a volunteer interim Medical Director.
